Happy First Mother’s Day in Heaven Momma. I miss you more than words can express. It’s our first mother’s day without you. For the last 11 years I never liked Mother’s Day because you were in NY, I still had bitterness and hurt because you left. I honestly hated Mother’s Day because I never had a card that I thought fit our relationship- dysfunctional 😂 But in the last year and a half God blessed us with the healing and healing we so deeply needed. They say, “the first step is the hardest,” but is it really? Is the first step the hardest? Is the first workout the hardest? Is the first of week of school the most difficult? Have we been lead astray? Saying, “the first step is the hardest,” in general is a decent statement to help motivate someone to start moving in the “right” direction.
